I wonder if anyone knows wheather or not all Kakonyi are related. My cousin Les and I root back to Baja. Do all kakonyi ? my current family name is: Hankai, which was/should be: Hocksteiger.
...There is a huge family of Kakonyi in Baja, on their puszta, which can be found on the map if I could just remember the name of it. One of my cousins, Marika, married into Fono', in somogy m. I believe my Great grand mother ggma; was Erzsebet (Elizabeth) Kakonyi. She married rendesi-Barany Istvan, in Balatonboglar.
Don't know if this helps anyone, or if anyone could help me connect with my enormous family - I never knew. I will be going to meet with the ones I know and will likely get the full geneology for the Baja line - if anyone else is here - I'd love to hear from you.
